Copper Slag Grit – Iron Silicate

HIGHLIGHTS

Description: Copper Slag is a blastcleaning grit made of granulated slag from metal melting processes. (also called Iron-silicate).

Applications: Blastcleaning of steel and stone/concrete surfaces, removal of mill scale, rust, old paint, dirt etc. Suitable for SA-3, SA-21/2 and SA-2.

0.1 – 0.8 mm
0.2 – 1.5 mm
0.5 – 1.5 mm
0.2 – 2.5 mm
0.5 – 2.0 mm
0.5 – 2.5 mm

Packing: 3-ply paper bags, 50 kgs content, on shrinkfoiled export pallets.
-Strong woven polypropylene big bags, with 4 lifting loops.

SiO2 : 25 -35 % in bound form, < 1% free silica
Al203 : 4 – 9 %
Fe2O3 : 40 – 45 %
CaO : 4 -9 % K2O : 0.1 %
MgO : 0.05 TiO : 0.1 %
Na2O : 0.2%
Free silica : <1 %
